Need more healthy/weight loss/fitness blogs to...
slimme:
I am only following 18 so far, not much going on my dashboard! :|
If you are a positive weight loss/fitness/healthy blog, reblog and I will check you out - and probably follow you. :)
While I respect everyone’s point of view, I take the liberty to choose not to follow “pro eating disorder” blogs. An eating disorder is, in my opinion, a sad and very serious thing. It should not be made...
Hunger Games things
So I totally do my hair in a Katniss braid ALL the time. Even down the same shoulder.
And I used to be really good at archery.
And my hometown used to be a booming coal mining town. And it’s in the Appalachian Mountains.
Weird.
Go District 12?

I’m not shy about identifying as a feminist- I would never say anything like “I’m not a feminist, but…” because I feel like all women (all people, really, regardless of gender) should want equality between the sexes (which of course does not mean that men and women are exactly the same and that we…

Going to start reading "The Hunger Games" tonight...
You guys might not hear from me for a while.
Designing a Dystopian Marching band show
Uniforms, colorguard, flags and all.
I already built my band’s base uniform. You know. Cause I’m cool.
So now we’re going to ramp it up a bit.
This will be some crazy, crazy shit.
I love it.
Who wants to write the score?
I wish some school would just give me their marching band and an awesome budget. I have so many crazy ideas that I would love to try out. I just need to test them.
I need to try yoga. NOW.
healthierhabits:
Does it help with weight loss? It looks soo fun :)! I would love feedback from anyone who knows anything about yoga! Tips, advice, anything<3
There are more intense and cardio-based yogas like Yoga X from p90X and Yoga Meltdown from Jillian Michaels. You could probably lose weight doing that or a Bikram class, where it’s about 100 degrees and super humid.

On "taking things too seriously"
I caused a shitstorm on facebook.
Someone posted a meme saying “Not a music major? Keep complaining about your five classes”. See, we music majors take a LOT of classes. LOTS. So this was funny.
So then some moron makes a post about how music is an easy major and we never go to class or do anything. I then corrected him in a fairly polite manner.
BOOM. shitstorm. And it...
I will run a 5k before or soon after graduation
I’m putting this in my main blog so I’m accountable for it and I’m not just saying it.
I will enter a 5k, run it, and finish it.
I am tired of my asthma running my life. I will defeat it.
It took me 47 minutes to get from my apartment to the Performing Arts Center and back. This is a 2.7 mile loop that is never flat. I kid you not. Never. Flat. So. many. hills.
Most 5ks...

I wish I was a soprano.
Then I would have pretty voices like my friends.
Instead, I sound like I’m growling.
There’s a reason there are no alto soloists in musicals or operas. Nobody wants to hear it unless it helps build the chord.

I think someone is hacking me.
I look at my page and it says that I posted something from the “Tumblr Staff Blog” about winning a Starbucks giftcard and a link. It’s obviously spam or a virus and yet it’s saying I posted it when I didn’t. I just went and deleted SEVEN of them that somehow ended up on my page.

I know people tend to not want to read personal stuff. Especially when it’s not happy.
I’m really not happy. There are things that keep me feeling okay and occupied. The gym helps out with that, too.
But every time I get time to myself I just end up in this funk I can’t break out of.
It’s kind of like yelling underwater. Everyone is right there but nobody can hear...
